One of my friends from Sweden came to live in England about three years ago. When she came here she started watching TV. She had to turn the thing off.
I asked her, why?
She said to me that in Sweden they have sex on TV in the daytime, and there is no violence shown until after the watershed. Violence is for adults only, who can hopefully process the images they see properly.
When she watched TV here, it was the exact reverse. She was disgusted.
I am disgusted as well.
This situation seems absurd to me, but then, I don't watch the box anymore so who am I to have an opinion?
